<p>Da qualche mese Canon ha annunciato una nuova reflex professionale, la 1D Mark IV. Questo nuovo prodotto è stato studiato per i fotografi professionisti che lo impiegano per riprese d&#8217;azione, sport, cronaca, eventi e fotografia naturalistica. Per soddisfare meglio queste esigenze, la reflex presenta nuove tecnologie e piccole accorgenze che sembrano a prima lettura addirittura inadatte ad un&#8217;ammiraglia del segmento professionale, come ad esempio l&#8217;assenza di un sensore full-frame. <p>Samsung sta lavorando allo sviluppo di display flessibili per cellulari significativamente più sottili degli attuali LCD. In questo video, possiamo vedere il confronto fra display LCD ed un display OLED (Organiz Light-Emitting Diode) a confronto. Il display OLED, a differenza di quello LCD è flessibile e resiste addirittura a sollecitazioni estreme come quella di una martellata.<br />
La dimostrazione è decisamente interessante e mostra il potenziale di questa nuova tecnologia. La tecnologia OLED è già studiata dall&#8217;università dell&#8217;Arizona per creare display flessibili, leggeri e facilmente trasportabili. I risultati sono decisamente promettenti.</p>

<p>I due fisici Willard S. Boyle e George E. Smith, inventori del sensore CCD, sono 2 dei 3 vincitori del premio Nobel per la fisica 2009. La scoperta sviluppata dalla coppia nel 1969 nei laboratori Bell, ha finalmente avuto il riconoscimento di grande prestigio.</p>
<p>Di seguito l&#8217;articolo del Corriere della Sera:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong></strong> Il Nobel per la fisica 2009 è andato ai padri dei sensori per le videocamere e fotocamere digitali. Willard Boyle (canadese) e George Smith (statunitense) lavoravano alla At&amp;T quando svilupparono un semiconduttore capace di replicare un&#8217;immagine. Charles Kao, pioniere nell&#8217;uso delle fibre ottiche per le telecomunicazioni, è il terzo vincitore. Kao, nato a Shanghai, ha vissuto tra Hong Kong e Londra.</p>
<p><strong>LA MOTIVAZIONE -</strong> I tre scienziati &#8212; ha detto il comitato &#8212; hanno contribuito a creare le fondamenta dell&#8217;attuale società «connessa». «Hanno creato molte innovazioni pratiche per la vita di tutti i giorni e fornito nuovi strumenti per l&#8217;esplorazione scientifica», ha dichiarato il comitato in una nota. Kao, nato nel 1933 e originario di Shanghai con cittadinanza britannica e americana, ha vinto la metà del premio, mentre Boyle (nato in canada nel 1924) &#8212; con doppia cittadinanza, canadese e statunitense &#8212; e l&#8217;americano Smith (nato nel 1933), si dividono la restante metà. Il riconoscimento da 1,4 milioni di dollari, è stato assegnato dal Comitato del Nobel per la Fisica della Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.</p>
<p><strong>TUTTI DA AZIENDE -</strong> Tutti e tre Nobel della Fisica hanno condotto in aziende private le ricerche grazie alle quali hanno ottenuto il prestigioso riconoscimento. Charles Kuen Kao si è laureato nel 1965 in Ingegneria elettronica in Gran Bretagna, nell&#8217;Imperiale College di Londra. In pensione dal 1996, ha condotto le ricerche che lo hanno portato al Nobel negli Standard Telecommunication Laboratories di Harlow e contemporaneamente ha insegnato nell&#8217;Università Cinese di Hong Kong. Willard Sterling Boyle si è laureato in Fisica nel 1950, presso la McGill University. In pensione dal 1979, ha diretto la Divisione sulle Comunicazioni degli statunitensi Bell Laboratories. George Elwood Smith, cittadino americano, è nato nel 1930 a White Plains. Si è laureato in Fisica nell&#8217;università di Chicago nel 1959 ed ha lavorato nei Bell Laboratories fino al pensionamento, avvenuto nel 1986.</p></blockquote>

<p>La Nikon Coolpix S1000Pj è una fotocamera con proiettore integrato. Il prodotto ha suscitato grande interesse sul mercato per l&#8217;insolita caratteristica della proiezione. Integrare un proiettore in un corpo così compatto era impensabile, finché Nikkei Electronics non ha creato un modulo che potesse sfruttare l&#8217;altezza del corpo della fotocamera. Il modulo del proiettore si estende nel corpo proprio come il modulo ottico ad escursione interna tipico di parecchie fotocamere Nikon e Fujifilm. Grazie ad un sistema ottico, le immagini da proiettare vengono riflesse verso l&#8217;esterno.</p>

<p>Da qualche mese, Fujifilm ha annunciato la nuova Fujifilm W1 3D, una fotocamera in grado di scattare immagini 3D. Questo sistema funziona grazie alla presenza sul corpo di due ottiche differenti ed un display a due canali video. La visualizzazione delle foto può avvenire solo su display dedicati. <p>Recentemente, Sony Corporation ha annunciato lo sviluppo di una telecamera ad un solo obiettivo in grado di registrare video 3D A 240 fps.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recentemente, Hasselblad ha annunciato due nuovi sistemi H4D da 60 e 50 megapixel. Fra le caratteristiche della H4D c&#8217;è il &#8220;True Focus AF&#8221;, una nuova tecnologia che promette maggior precisione dell&#8217;AF, abbandonando il sistema di messa a fuoco multipunto adottato da Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus ecc.</p>
<p>Secondo le ricerche effettuate dai tecnici Hasselblad, il sistema multipunto offrirebbe diversi inconvenienti:</p>
<ul>
<li>Non copre sempre un&#8217;area realmente utile del soggetto.</li>
<li>La selezione automatica del punto spesso non risponde alle nostre esigenze.</li>
<li>La selezione manuale del punto AF d&#8217;interesse spesso richiede tempo.</li>
</ul>
<p>Il problema è presente anche sui sistemi con unico punto di messa a fuoco, proprio quello delle fotocamere Hasselblad, ed è di tipo geometrico, cioè che quando il fotografo imposta il punto da mettere a fuoco, inevitabilmente, nella maggior parte dei casi, viene alterato il piano di messa a fuoco.</p>

<p>Il giroscopio, è un semplice strumento che ci fa sapere il proprio posizionamento nello spazio. Il controller della celebre Nintendo Wii, comunica alla console la posizione, proprio tramite giroscopio. Hasselblad ha deciso di equipaggiare i nuovi sistemi H4D con un giroscopio ad alta precisione che permette di far elaborare la messa a fuoco in base ai movimenti verticali ed orizzontali.</p>

<p>L&#8217;utente seleziona il punto di interesse del soggetto da mettere a fuoco, preme il tasto dedicato &#8220;True Focus&#8221; e da questo momento in poi, anche muovendo la fotocamera, il sistema di giroscopio rileverà il cambiamento di posizione (angolo di variazione dell&#8217;asse orizzontale e verticale) comunicandolo al sistema di elaborazione che lavorerà con algoritmi dedicati.</p>

<p>Canon ha annunciato oggi un nuovo sistema di stabilizzazione: Hybrid Image Stabilizer (IS). L&#8217;innovazione di questo nuovo sistema di stabilizzazione è nel compensare oltre ai movimenti lineari, anche quelli di rotazione. La nuova tecnologia Hybrid IS incorpora un sensore di velocità angolare che rilevala misura della vibrazione del corpo macchina, permettendo così una stabilizzazione davvero efficace, sia durante riprese con teleobiettivi che con obiettivi macro.</p>

Per ora non si sa come riuscirà la fotocamera a catturare immagini 3D, sappiamo solo che sarà equipaggiata con due sensori e due obiettivi. <p><a href="http://www.advancedimagingpro.com/print/Advanced-Imaging-Magazine/Looking-at-the-Expanding-Sensor-Market/1$5151">Advanced Imaging Pro</a> ha pubblicato un interessante articolo sulle ultime tecnologie Kodak nel campo dei sensori. Quest&#8217;immagine trovata su Flickr allude alla possibilità di una nuova tecnologia di sensori PMOS.</p>
<p>Il nuovo PMOS dovrebbe utilizzare un processo di lavoro diverso da quello utilizzato dai sensori CMOS. Nei sensori Kodak PMOS, la polarità del silicio è invertita, in modo che la mancanza di elettroni viene utilizzata per rilevare il segnale. Gli attuali pixel dei sensori CMOS lavorano in maniera opposta: gli elettroni invece di rilevare, vengono generati quando la luce interagisce con la superficie del sensore.</p>
<p>Oltre al PMOS, dovrebbe essere in sviluppo un nuovo sensore CCD, che, a detta di Samsung, dovrebbe utilizzare soltanto 1/10 dell&#8217;energia che utilizzano gli attuali sensori CCD, con conseguente aumento della durata delle batterie.</p>
<p>Il nuovo sensore PMOS, sembrerebbe un grande passo avanti per la tecnologia dei sensori, speriamo di poterlo vedere presto su fotocamere di alti segmenti.</p>
