La società Giapponese HOYA, proprietaria del marchio Pentax, ha annunciato oggi una reflex digitale medio formato. Dunque sono state confermate le voci che da qualche mese parlavano del debutto di Pentax nel medio formato.

La nuova fotocamera si chiama 645D ed è stata sviluppata per offrire immagini ad altissima risoluzione grazie al sensore Kodak CCD 44x33mm, 14 bit, 40 megapixel. Il medio formato non spaventa Pentax, infatti la tropicalizzazione, punto di forza delle fotocamere digitali Pentax è presente anche su questo prodotto: 645D resiste a polvere, acqua e temperature fino a -10°C.

Pentax 645D avrà un prezzo di 7000 euro circa. Il  nuovo obiettivo D FA 645 55mm F2.8 dedicato costerà 800 euro circa.

Purtroppo, per ora Pentax 645D sarà venduta a maggio soltanto in Giappone, ma il per ora ci fa pensare ad un possibile arrivo anche in Europa se il mercato Giapponese risponderà bene.
