Canon ha annunciato l’attesissima sostituta della EOS 1D Mark III. La EOS 1D Mark IV ha un sistema di messa a fuoco totalmente nuovo da 45 punti, ampiamente testato prima del lancio. La nuova arrivata ha un sensore CMOS di formato APS-H da 16.1 megapixel come previsto, registrazione video 1080p HD. Come la recente D3s, la 1D Mark IV arriva ad una sensibilità espansa di 102400 ISO.
L’ ammiraglia della linea professionale è studiata per avere alte prestazioni al massimo della velocità, pronta a scattare anche in situazioni difficili grazie al corpo in magnesio e alla tropicalizzazione. Il sistema è dotato di doppio processore DIGIC 4, grazie al quale è possibile avere una raffica da 10 fps. Mr. Shinbori, Senior General Manager di Canon ha affermato che con un nuovo sensore d’altissima qualità e doppio processore d’elaborazione la Canon EOS 1D Mark IV permette ai fotografi di ottenere il massimo della qualità”. Canon Italia dovrebbe annunciare a breve la reflex, per ora ci accontentiamo di qualche immagine di Canon USA dove si può capire l’enorme potenziale del nuovo sensore:



La reflex sarà disponibile nei prossimi mesi ad un prezzo di 4599 euro.
